Thank you for visiting the Groton Long Point Police Department web site. Incorporated in 1921, the Groton Long Point Police Department is a progressive municipal police agency located on the shoreline in Southeastern Connecticut. Surrounded by water and bordered with beaches on three sides, the Groton Long Point community is host to approximately 1650 year round residents and a seasonal population that at times exceeds 6600 residents.
